Boettcher had a need to integrate relevant SAP data into Salesforce in a meaningful and efficient way.
Böttcher established SAP as their central enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution over a broad range of the organization. However, it was not available to the organization’s sales force. Therefore, Böttcher introduced Salesforce as a new and modern system of engagement to provide a holistic and customer360 experience. With this approach however, the main challenge remained: Böttcher’s business processes needed to span across system boundaries (i.e. all departments incl. sales, SAP & Salesforce) and provide an end-to-end solution.

The Solution by Vigience Overcast
Due to Vigience Overcast, Böttcher is now able to manage their quotes and sales orders as well as invoices and accounting-related information all within Salesforce leveraging SAP-sourced data.
In addition, due to Vigience Overcast, additional data sets such as turnover which are coming from a separate external business intelligence system, are fully integrated in the Salesforce-interface to provide at-a-glance insights to the end user.
The Outcome
All data required by Böttcher for their business processes (i.e. their entire sales cycle) are retrieved from SAP and integrated into Salesforce.
