Expectations and Task of the Job

Vigience Overcast application is built on top of the Salesforce platform, and Vigience Overcast Service is built on top of Microsoft Azure.

As an Overcast developer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• As an Overcast developer, you will work in smaller project teams under the Vigience’s project lead and as part of our customers’ project organization
• Clarification of requirements
• Detailed design of software components
• High quality coding of software components
• Quality assurance of your own code
• Documentation of coding
• Self-study and learning of Salesforce platform development and necessary tools
• Work together with other Overcast developers and consultants on system architecture, detailed solution design, and project deliverables
• Join daily project team meetings and additional ad-hoc meetings as required

Skills And Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of software development experience and knowledge
• University degree or equivalent work experience
• Java, C# or Apex software development and/or business software implementation experience
• Strong communication skills in Japanese language (Native or Native-level)

Work Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a software developer or business software consultant or a solid education in software development

Advantage

• Experience developing Salesforce.com
• Apex programming
• Salesforce Lightning
• English (Reading/Conversational is a plus)

• On-site in Shinagawa, Tokyo
• Customer on-site visits for testing, planning, or meetings as required
